Curtis “Razor” Blaydes and Chris Daukaus face off in a heavyweight bout at Fight Night 205 to headline a stacked fight card at Nationwide Arena on Saturday, March 26 (3/26/2022).
UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Daukaus will be broadcast on ESPN, and can be streamed live on ESPN+, fuboTV and other live TV services. The main fight card starts at 7:00 p.m. ET with the preliminary bouts at 4:00 p.m. ET.
In the main event Blaydes (15-3-0) faces Daukaus (12-4-0) in the first domestic Fight Night in front of a large crowd since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. Blaydes has headlined four of his last five fight cards, and won five of his last six fights. Daukaus was on a five fight win streak before losing to Derrick Lewis in December.
Both men are looking to the fight as an opportunity to stay in title contention, and a win here is critical in the uncertain heavyweight division.
“A win over him, hopefully a finish over him, that keeps me in title contention,” Blaydes told MMA Junkie. “We don’t known what’s going on with Stipe, Jon, Gane, Ngannou – there’s a lot of stagnation. I’m really just trying to maintain my position.”
Here’s a look at the main card for Saturday, which will air on ESPN and ESPN Plus:
