Middlesbrough team news
Middlesbrough will still be without Riley McGree, with the Australian midfielder not expected back until after the international break. However, there will be hope that Andraz Sporar and James Lea Siliki will be available to feature at some point. The pair were tipped to return in midweek against Birmingham City but did not make the matchday squad.
Anfernee Dijksteel did return, however, and should start again.
Chelsea team news
Chelsea’s squad has slowly been healing itself with Reece James and Callum Hudson-Odoi looking close to returns from injury. James was included in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the upcoming international break, leading to suggestions he could feature this weekend.
Andreas Christensen is a doubt after coming off against Lille in midweek though it did not appear too serious at the time. Ben Chilwell remains out for the season.
